Ryan is the hybrid OCR / Trail Runner athlete. Specialising in mountain, long distance races - he has won pretty much each and every OCR / Trail race on the island. Most re-known for his stellar undisputed local OCR wins in The Grid, winning 7 editions.
On the international stage, Ryan has brought home a number of Spartan OCR AG wins and podiums, trail running wins and is also the national record holder of the Gozo 50k trail, winning the event twice and being the only Maltese ever to run the route twice under 4hr30mins. |
Ryan is also a national team Mountain Runner, and have participated in several European / World Mountain Running Championships. One of his career highlights is a prestigious 2nd place AG at the Spartan European Championships 2021.
