When I started running in 2019, at the age of 33, it was my way of taking a break from my busy work life, and I immediately fell in love with it.
I've been running nearly every day since and in 2021 I decided to really test my limits and completed a 110km run across the length of Malta three times in 12 hours. Still the new ''kid'' on the block, to date I have participated in 3 marathons, breaking the sub 3 hour barrier on my second attempt, in Paris. I love a lot of things about running, but what I love most is that it is so relatable to life - every run presents a new challenge, a new opportunity to test myself, and a new opportunity to reflect on everything else going on. My next big challenges for 2022 are a 365km solo run across Sicily in 60 hours of non stop running, followed by an 80km run at the Runfire Salt Lake Ultra Trail event. |
