How do I register my device using Garmin Express?
For most device types, just provide your email address during device setup to register it. You don't have to enter your serial number, name, address or any other personal information — all we need is your email address. Here’s a tip: If you have an existing Garmin account, be sure and use the same email address you used to create that account so that your device appears in your list of registered products.
For devices that are linked to Garmin Connect (such as fitness devices), we automatically register it for you during device setup, so you don’t have to do anything! It will appear as a registered device in whatever Garmin Connect account you link it to during device setup.

How do I upload fitness activities to Garmin Connect using Express?
All you need to do is set up your fitness device in Garmin Express. Then, when you have activities ready to upload to Garmin Connect, simply connect it to your computer and sync your device. Some device types will sync automatically when they’re connected to the computer. Some devices require you to push a button on the device to sync. See your owner’s manual to get instructions for your specific device. But no matter the method of syncing, you don’t even have to open Garmin Express to sync. When the upload is complete, you will see a notification on your desktop, and then you can go to Garmin Connect to view your data.
